A branched, aliphatic, co-solvent free, polyether-based, polyurethane dispersion.

Suggested Uses: L-2357 was designed for a variety of coating and adhesive applications where the chemical- and thermal-resistance of a crosslinked system are required, but the use of a multiple component system is neither feasible nor desirable.

Characteristics:
  • Contains no co-solvent
  • Medium hard, tough film
  • Polymer branching improves film resistance properties
  • Dries to clear, glossy, non-discoloring film
  • Dilution and cleanup of wet material with water

Application

N/A L-2357 can be used as supplied or blended with acrylic emulsions for spray or rotogravure applications. It can be thickened with associative thickeners for knife-over-roll or similar methods.

Drying

N/A L-2357 can be air dried, if desired, depending on film thickness. Typical drying temperatures and dwell times for aqueous coatings are sufficient to produce optimal film properties.
